Mechanic broke my master key, what now?

I've just had two new tyres fitted to my Mercedes-Benz, but the mechanic broke my master key. They've offered to drill the broken nuts but I don't trust them not to further damage the wheels. Plus, why should I pay for new locking wheel nuts when not my fault?

Tell the manager of the store that you expect the wheel to be repaired or you shall take it to a Mercedes-Benz dealer and bill them the costs. If they refuse, raise your complaint to their national customer services and get legal advice (via Citizens Advice) to sue for the costs via the small claims court.
