Engine overtakes tyres

I recently had the rear tyres replaced on my 2003 E39 BMW 5 Series 2.5SE (not runflats). The garage recommended Dunlop Sport3000 instead of the original fit Pirelli. The speed rating is W which is well within the range for this car. However, I note from the Dunlop site that they do not have a tyre that is recommended for this make and model and I am concerned that I have an inadequate tyre for the vehicle. Can you advise?

I never advise going for a lower speed rating than the manufacturer
recommends for the car because it is an expression of the general
performance of the tyre, not merely its maximum speed.
