Warner bothers

The rear fog light indicator on the dash of my Golf Mk IV can be seen pulsating faintly although it is not switched on. This occurs only when the right hand turn signal is being made. Could this be a bad earth? Have you any ideas where I could start to look please?

Possibly some moisture ingress in the rear light clusters. Pop the bulb carriers out from inside the boot and take a look. What can happen is that the joint in the tube to the rear screen washer leaks, dribbling fluid down the ‘D’ pillar. (CW remailed to let me know I had been correct.)
