Can you recommend some cheap to insure cars for young drivers?

What cars are reasonable to insure for 18 or 19 year olds?

You want something that's small, cheap to fuel and backed by a decent reputation for reliability.

I'd recommend:

Toyota Aygo 1.0-litre: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/toyota/aygo-2014
Suzuki Swift 1.2-litre Dualjet: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/suzuki/swift-2010

Well built with an upmarket interior. Enjoyable and involving to drive. Cheap to run 1.6TDCI ECOnetic. Exceptional reliability record. Very few problems reported despite more than 500,000 sold.
Excellent equipment across the range, great fun to drive regardless of the engine, sport version is huge fun, 4x4 is great for rural areas.
Plenty of kit as standard. Quirky looks.
