Do I need an International Driver's Permit if travelling to Spain and Portugal?

I am driving to Spain and Portugal soon - do I need IDPs?

You will only need an IDP if the UK leaves the EU without a deal. If you have an older, paper driving licence then you must always carry a form of photographic ID, such as your passport.
