Carparkers guide

There are a lot of car suppliers that are not independent or Main Dealers but just have a website and many are "viewing by appointment only" (some have landlines some don't). Am I right to avoid these as I've seen what appear to be good examples of MX5s with FSH etc from such "dealers"?

If the viewing takes place at premises with lots of other cars there, then fine. As long as the dealer’s house isn't a caravan. If he merely meets you somewhere, like a carpark, with the car then politely turn him down.
