Is there an SUV that can carry four adults and a child seat along with a wheelchair in the boot?

I’m looking for an SUV that’s large enough for four adults and one child/booster seat. Add to the mix, the need to carry a wheelchair in the boot, and other bits and pieces. I’ve considered a BMW X2, X1, Sportage or Hyundai Tucson. Any of these you would recommend, or perhaps something else? We currently have a Toyota Verso, which has the boot space, but is just too tight in the back for two adults and the car seat.

How often are you expecting to transport four adults and a child? The cars you've mentioned will do it occasionally but will feel cramped pretty quickly on a long journey. We rate the Kia Sportage as it has a large boot, is well equipped and comes with a lengthy warranty. It might be worth looking at slightly bigger SUVs, though, like the Honda CR-V. Or, going a step further, the Skoda Kodiaq is a very practical SUV.
