A used car I bought from a dealer is faulty - how do I make the dealer take action to fix it?

There are several small faults with a two-year-old Ford Fiesta I purchased recently from a dealer. How do I make the dealer actually take action to help me rather than just getting someone else to contact me to arrange an appointment?

Write a letter detailing your complaint and stating that if the dealer does not rectify the faults forthwith you wish to avail yourself of your right under The Consumer Rights Act 2015 and preceding Acts and Case Law to reject the car for a full cash refund. State that you will be returning the car to the dealership in five days time and will be leaving it with him. Send your letter by Post Office Special Delivery, keeps a copy and staple the certificate of posting to it so it becomes a 'matter of record' for the courts.
