Nice Drive

Bought one because I liked the look ,needed the height of an SUV for my back and needed a certain footprint to fit in my garage.
Car drives well and has proven reliable. The cabin is relatively spacious and comfortable ,no trim etc has broken after nearly 15 months and no squeaks in mine either.
Car has been used daily throughout lockdown but lower milage than would be expected and none of the regular long journeys which is a shame because its a fine and ecconomical motorway cruiser.Getting about 38mpg local driving , 50mpg + on longer trips.
I switch stop-start off every trip by default , the lane change feature is however a genuine pain ,it is my only annoyance with the car.
Otherwise plenty of toys on the SEL ,LED lights very good ,whilst winter pack , reversing camera and spare wheel are desireable options.
The 1.0 TSI relative lack of torque at low revs is well documented but it improves greatly when the engine lossens up and your driving style adapts .That said I had a couple of roundabout stalling issues in the early days but nothing after first month.
