In a move predicted by many pundits, FIAT has made its first move towards acquiring the benefits of Mazda Skyactiv technology.
Chevrolet is to introduce a new small SUV called the Trax at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. It’s set to go on sale in Spring 2013.
BMW has revealed that the Touring – or estate – version of its new 3 Series will be priced from £29,380 when it goes on sale in September.
Vauxhall has confirmed that it's new MINI rivalling city car will be called the Adam. It will go on sale in early 2013 and is expected to cost around £10,000.

Prices start at £7995 for Volkswagen's new Up city car which is now open for ordering with the first cars arriving in Spring 2012.
Five-door version of the A1 is available to order later in November with prices starting at £13,980 for the 1.2 TFSI.
Prices for the i30 start at £14,495 for the well equipped 1.4-litre Classic model while the popular 1.6 CRDi is £16,895.
Chevrolet has finally confirmed that the long awaited Camaro will come to the UK, arriving here in 2012 with prices starting at £34,995.
Revamped model goes on sale in March 2012 with improvements to handling while the Passat part of the name has been dropped.

The new Boxster goes on sale in May with prices starting at £37,589 for the standard model and £45,384 for the Boxster S.

Volvo has unveiled the new V40, an Audi A3 rival which Volvo hopes will draw buyers in with its Scandinavian design.
Cars On Sale In June 2012

The new A3 has been unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show and will go on sale in June with prices starting at around £19,000.
Kia revealed the good looking estate - or SW - version of its new Cee'd at the Geneva Motor Show alongside the five-door hatchback version.
BMW has revealed the four-door 6 Series Gran Coupe at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show before it goes on sale in June.
Toyota's GT 86 rear wheel drive sports car goes on sale in the UK this summer priced at less than £25k.
Prices start at £32,995 for the GS 250 which is available to order now with the first cars arriving with customers in June.
The more practical version of the Mii features wide opening rear doors and is powered by the same 1.0-litre engine.
The estate 'Tourer' version of the i30 was revealed at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show and goes on sale this summer with prices around £16k.
The estate version of the Cruze goes on sale in June with prices expected to start at around £13,000, making it good value for money.
Cars On Sale in July 2012

The two-door BRZ sports coupe has been developed alongside the Toyota GT 86. It goes on sale in July priced at around £25,000.
The new SL-Class gets a lightweight aluminium bodyshell which means improvements in performance and economy. Expect prices to start at £80k.
Cars On Sale in September 2012

Jaguar has taken the wraps of its new XF Sportbrake estate, which will go on sale in September this year.
The M6 Coupe and Convertible are powered by a 560PS twin-turbo V8 engine and go on sale in September priced from £94,000.
Ford has taken the wraps off its new B-MAX small MPV, which features a novel door layout and is expected to start at £12,500.
The all-new bigger and more spacious CR-V has been unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show and will go on sale in the UK in September.
Audi unveiled the RS4 Avant at the Geneva Motor Show. It goes on sale in September and is expected to cost around £60,000.
Volkswagen introduced a GTI version of its Golf Cabriolet at the Geneva Motor Show and it will go on sale in the UK in September.
Renault premiered the electric Zoe at the Geneva Motor Show which will be priced from £13,650 when it goes on sale this autumn.
The performance John Cooper Works version of the MINI Countryman goes on sale in the Autumn priced from around £28,000.
