Just about perfect

Having owned the vehicle for 3 years and 62000 miles it is perfect for my use as a long distance load carrier of test equipment, tools, and other stuff used in my job as a Consultant Engineer.
The fuel consumption is 38 - 42mpg, brake disc and pad wear is minimal and tyre life is 30000 miles plus.
The only thing to go wrong is a pressure switch on the air conditioning circuit, which I have been informed by an Audi dealer Parts Manager is a known problem on the VW/Audi V6 engines.
Comfort and refinement is in a different league to my previous Volvo XC90, whose soft touch non-scratchy plastics rapidly deteriorated during hard use.
The climate control is excellent and once set doesn't need adjusting.
Having test driven the BMW X5 and Mercedes GLE, I cannot see why anyone would prefer these over the equivalent Touareg over than badge snobbery.
