Hurry up and wait

As soon as I saw this car, I loved it, and so in August 2021 I placed an order. Months came and went and finally in March 2022 I got the car. During this time I contacted the dealer several times but they were never able to give me much information.

In the ten months that followed I only covered around 3000 miles, but the car was a joy to drive (other than the overly aggressive lane keep assistant). I made frequent use of the V2L function and overall, really enjoyed having the it.

Then, in January 2023 the car broke down while I was away from home - a fault in the on-board charger meant it could no longer charge the 12v battery, and without that, the car was dead.

Some two and a half months later, with the car still off the road, numerous calls, visits and emails sent and no incaling of a care from either the dealer or Hyundai, I finally got them to agree to buy the car back... and so ends my ownership experience.
