99 1.6 Trying to clean ABS sensor - Hugo {P}
Silly question, but I'm thinking it would be a good idea to try cleaning the ABS sensor on this car before I do go and buy a new one.

Even though the mechanic thought it needed to be changed, I've read much on the net about cleaning them off.

Where would I find it on the hub, and is it feasable to clean it on this car?

Imho don't waste your time cleaning the sensor.If the sensor is faulty,probably open circuit or high resistance,then get it replaced.I'm afraid cleaning a sensor to fix an abs system is a myth.hth
