Ford ecoboost vs VAG TSi

I will be looking to buy a medium sized hatchback in the future. We currently lease a Ford Focus 1.6 TDCi 115 and love it and we have never had a single DPF issue. However, as we are generally driving less and less (about 10K a year) we believe petrol is the way to go, particularly turbo powered petrols.

Which vehicle do you recommend which is a turbo petrol, as we don't want naturally aspirated since they are quite sluggish.

We have seen the - 1.0 Ecoboost Focus (100ps), Seat Leon 1.2 TSi (105ps). Cars with a larger engine such as the Golf 1.4 TSi 122 or Astra 1.4 turbo 140 are higher insurance groups and therefore not considered.

Do you recommend the Focus ecoboost 100ps or Seat Leon 1.2 TSi 105? If there any other cars which you can consider, please do so.

I'd be inclined to go for the Leon in this case.
