Buying a small used car?

I currently own a 2007 Vauxhall Corsa Club. I would like to change my car for something smaller, that handles well and has a comfortable driving position. The Corsa has a comfortable driving position, but the handling is very limp. (A common problem with Corsas of this age.)

I am not after a brand new car, I would preferably like a used car that is small, comes with a reach adjustable steering wheel and is no older than 3 years old.

Can you recommend anything?
