Are you still a big fan of the Fiat 500 as a current owner?

I am considering a second car for shorter city based journeys, tested a Fiat 500 1.2 Lounge and found it very enjoyable. There is a January 2012 model available for £7195. Good condition, one previous owner, properly serviced etc with 64,000 km. Any other comparable cars better value for money or worth considering?

This is a car that sells on looks (it's sold 200,000 in the UK). Doesn't offer the greatest drive, but is 50mpg economical and has by far the best front seats of any small car because they have long squabs that can be tilted. (I've just been out in mine.) Nothing has gone wrong in nearly 8 years. I did give it a new timing belt and waterpump in April and put a new battery on last week as a precaution because it gets left unused for long periods. I think there's some room for negotiation from £7,195 for a 64k kilometre 2012.
