  Hi, I recently purchased my VW Golf Mk6 2010 which has the 7-Speed DQ200 DSG gearbox. I've done some research and have read many forums on this particular DSG gearbox and learnt it appears to be very problematic, with serious and very expensive mechanical issues being inevitable

  So, my daughter took possession of a 2020 T-Roc this morning, the 150hp 1.5 engine mated to the DQ200 dry clutch 7 speed box. It's a wonderful, smooth and quick thing to drive at the moment but obviously having followed this forum for a while, I'm aware there can be issues and indeed many here

  tried to explain that this gearbox has a known issue and that vw has issued recall of this 7 speed dsg dq200 gearbox that had a fault with the wrong oil being put into it from manufacturer which causes the mechatronic unit to fail causing full failure of the gearbox. The car is out of the 3 year
