  I have a bluetooth battery monitor on the starter battery in my motorhome.  When the battery looks a little low, I put a CTEK on it. I noticed that the float charging voltage on my CTEK was a little high - 13.95v.

  Yes she is an old girl my VW Beetle nearly 200,000 on the clock starts first time every time, The battery died so I got another, connected it and now it won’t start it’s trying but the immobiliser kicks in what can I do .. do you no if I can reset it any help would be appreciated thank you

  Hi, after I left the lights on the battery died and when I tried the key found locks have seized apart from the boot. The boot opens so I'd like to know if I can get a little charge to engage the central locking through any wires. I'd like to know if this could work, any help much appreciated.

  Car would not start earlier , plenty of warning lights on the dash and i could hear the battery in the rear boot making some drained noises. I can see the usual leads plus 2 smaller connections so i am hesitant to remove it for recharging or replacing . until i understand the implications .

  my 2002 petrol engined clio problem is it will not turn over, i swich on the ignition and it seems as if the battery is dead, the dash lights fade a bit and the interior light illuminates slowly, as soon as i swich the headlights on i lose the dash lights and the interior light, but my battery isnt dead i even connected another battery to it, it was all fine yesterday and has never happened before but now suddenly it has this problem, this must have happened to someone out there?

  As the title says, Ive just had a very nice itinerant person in and he offered me £2 for every scrap battery i had,i told him i would settle for a plate or a balloon only,but what a sign of the times being offered money for them,it looks like as everyone now knows the true value of old cataclysmic converters the new word is lead £200 a tonne now scrap batteries but how many batteries would make that tonne?

  hi , this rover 25 has a problem the battery goes flat after 6- 8 days .ive changed the baterry twice ,starter motor and alternator , just when i think i have fixed it it wont start .cranks slowly and starts clicking ,ive checked nothing is left on and all the earth are good . any advise ,thanks ray .

  I searched as well as possible using the forum search tool, but couldn't find any related topics. I just changed the battery in my 2004 Berlingo, and now it won't start. It turns over (Much better now!) but does not start. The genuine Citroen RCL fob still unlocks/locks, but now it will not start the vehicle.

  4th time in 2 years that there has been a probplem with the keyless start, and more recently. totally discharged battery overnight. This is the second time in a month that it's happened. AA said there is a software fault somewhere , and to take the vehicle to Ford, but Ford say that they need to see the vehicle in its broken state to ascertain the problem...

  Hi i have a niggeling problem on my 07 plate galaxy ghia tdci,after a short period of time with the tailgate or a door open, when the vehicle is stationary without engine running the low battery warning comes on, time scale is approxamatly 5mins. the car has been back to the dealer twice and both occasions no fault found has any body any ideas cheers simon

  Peugeot 306 hdi 1999 t reg. Been unused for about 1 month. Battery was flat so I recharged. couldn't get car to start, battery wasn't charging so bought a new battery but still won't start. All I get is loads of clicking noises, remote locking doesn't work, lights on dash very dim or not at all, interior light doesn't come on.
