Low mileage Xantia - am I sane to reject 6 Nov 2004 (Forum)
Both plip keys were in perfect order and worked 100%. The engine bay had not been cleaned but it was dusty with no oil stains, new filters and showed signs of good maintenance ? backed by the stamps in the book. There were 2 new front spheres. The radiator was not corroded and heated up evenly down its length as the engine warmed up. -

She needs auto / petrol / boot 350 litres or more / preferably cam chain / around £5k but can stretch for right car / not SUV stylee / working AC / not black. To put it in her words, she wants "a car that goes brum and is as reliable as possible" (don't we all!!) -

Bonnet some times difficult to latch shut ? colleague told me that AA/RAC man gave him the tip for a roadside cure to dribble oil from the dipstick into the mechanism... Got a pair of Atera roof bars for the topbox ? although model specific, I will go back to Thule the next time (thanks to roofbox.co.uk for their assistance last year, last Sat before Christmas). -
BMW 5-Series E61 Touring (2004 - ) - 25,000km report BMW 530d 9 Jun 2009 (Forum)
Fuel economy is less of an issue these days than it was in August last year when I ordered the car, when a litre of diesel cost 1,50 Euros. Now it?s less than 1 Euro. I?m getting between 6.3l/100km and 7.0l/100km according to the computer which equals 37 ? 46mpg. More importantly I get around 1,000km between fill ups which justifies my decision for the diesel version over the petrol.
