Toyota iq - Buying low mileage car 2 Jun 2017 (Forum)
I was looking for a small automatic car and found the Toyota IQ in Toyota garage. It's 7 years old but have only 12k miles on it. Clear MOT history. What could be the problems with this car as it had low mileage? Could it already start to rot? -
Don't know - Car 13 Nov 2013 (Forum)
I have a thirty year old son who has just passed his test. He wants to spend a couple of thousand on a car. Cars of this age seem so unreliable. Someone said buy a Seat Ibiza but we can't find any where we live. He is well over six feet tall so the smaller cars are no use. -
Are older automatic cars more risky to buy? 8 Apr 2009 (Forum)
While looking around for a car in the price range of £800-£1000 (so around 10 years old), I've seen one or two automatics for sale. It's a big gamble buying a car of that price range and vintage anyway, but do you think that a car with an automatic gearbox would be a risk too far? -
Car Mags Must Go 9 Feb 2007 (Forum)
I have decided I want one of my spare bedroom 'back'. It is currently bursting at the seams with old car magazines. Mainly, Motor, Autocar & Car, from the 70s, 80s & 90s. They're all in pretty good nick & I'm reluctant to just throw them away. Does anybody know of any car club in the Manchester area that would benefit from them (gratis), or any other good home for them? -
Diesel car recommendations 9 Apr 2002 (Forum)
I need to get a small family size diesel car (i.e. Astra size). I would not buy new, instead I would prefer to buy a 1 to 2 year old car. £9k max budget. I will be doing 18K miles per year and would be looking to keep the car for 5 years. Can anybody recommend what make / model might suit me best? -
Nissan Qashqui Tekna 2016 - Nissan Qashqui engine failure 11 Mar 2020 (Forum)
I have got the car on finance (£260 a month) and there is no way I can afford such a huge cost. I really don' know what to do. The car is less than 4 year old and only has 45k on the clock. Surely to God this can't be right. -
Any - Italian tuneups 4 May 2024 (Forum)
Most cars benefit from a good long fast run every now and then. My old 1.1 Fiesta would feel much more lively after a 500 mile thrash up to North Wales and back. But with many cars capable of over 150mph, how do you give them a good workout? -

Any experience buying from Carsite 18 Jun 2009 (Forum)
I saw a car being advertised on this site at which seemed a pretty good price. They seem to be selling old lease cars, but I don't seem to be able to find any information from people who've actually bought from them. -

Yaris Aircon - regassing warranty cover 13 Jul 2006 (Forum)
Recently bought a Toyota Yaris for wife, car will be 3 years old in October. The aircon seems to take 3 or 4 minutes before delivering cool air and is not as cold as in my car, so I suspect it needs a re-gas. Would this be covered as a warranty fix or is it 'wear and tear' like brake pads? -
