  Could anyone kindly advise re this problem and where I should start on a repair ? I assume that the speedo is electronic as I cannot trace a drive cable. Where might the drive/pick up be for this type of speedo (auto gearbox)? Also, is the drive, at the speedo head, a magnetic disc which drags the needle round and could this be where the fault lies ?

  I currently drive a 2017 Vauxhall Astra 1.4t which I enjoy driving but looking for something bigger but with similar (or better!) fuel economy.  SUV AUTO Over 45mpg Petrol. I do not have an electric charging point.

     I know most of you have been driving for many years most likely but I wonder if anyone had these same feelings when you first started to drive.  I should say driving in London also can be a whole different experience than the rest of the country, where I believe the experience is so much less stressful.

  I had a good hour-long run in a VW ID-3 today.  Very much as expected. Certainly good to drive, with plenty of oomph and safe, neutral handling.  Not a huge amount of difference between the driving modes Eco, Comfort and Sport.  Unlike most reviewers, I didn't find the interior cheap-looking: it seemed fine to me.

  I have nowt against the British Legion - they do great work -- but they do tend to be rather old and conservative sorta people. I have plenty of friends in that category, but I'm not sure how I feel about them observing my driving; I have visions of a white-moustached man in a blazer with an AA badge on his lapel disparaging my lack of driving gloves and muttering things about "girls" driving. Apart from that, has anyone any recommendations on the choice between the IAM and RoSPA?

  Anyone drive a Scala 1.0SE? What are they like on the motorway? I only had mine yesterday from a Skoda dealer in Swansea and when i was driving to Cardiff there was quite a bit of vibration, mainly the steering wheel and drivers seat.
