  • None - Sister attacked by two cats 10 Aug 2014 (Forum)
I am aware of the different ways in which the law regards cats, as opposed to dogs.  Yesterday my sister was out walking her small dog, on a lead and totally under control, in a residential street.  The dog was not barking or pulling on the lead.  Two small cats appeared, arched their backs and hissed and then attacked the dog, a small Cairn terrier.

I'm a part-time professional driver (people) and often have to drive a Ford Transit minibus (M-reg) which is difficult to get into first gear. An hour in slow-moving traffic leads to an extremely painful left arm. Is it a foregone conclusion that a solution to this problem is difficult and expensive?

  • Honda Civic 06 5 door - Jumpstarting 06 Civic-beware. 18 Nov 2011 (Forum)
Cue the AA, towage to my local Honda dealer, and following a short conversation with the Mr Man at Honda, i became aware of a serious fault. If you connect the jump leads to the battery with the key in the ignition, the immobiliser scrambles and shuts down, meaning that Mr Honda needs to plug his computer into the car to get it started again. Therefore the moral of the story is: ***Make sure your keys ARE NOT in the ignition before you connect your jump leads to the battery!!!!
