  I replaced my wifes battery on her fiesta but didn't realise til after that I would need a code for the radio and it isn't in the owners manual. I have managed to dismantle the dash and found the serial number on the radio. M062934 Can you help please? Kindest regards

  Can any one help me with a key code for my Radio. Changed my battery and , yes , cant find the radio booklet key code anywhere. I believe I can request this from numerous organizations that have access to these key code data-bases , but must everything carry a cost.

  My battery went flat after my 'mate' left the interior lights on overnight and now I can't operate the radio. It's a Ford 3000 Traffic and the serial number is M180308, but as the car is so old I don't even have the original owners manual and the back of the radio doesn't have the code scrawled anywhere.

  I have been quoted £24 by Vauxhall to get the radio code. Does anyone know of a cheaper way of getting it. I have seen some sites on the internet which requre the radio serial number and then they will provide the code for a payment of about £10.

  In my area I get a lot of interference from what I guess is a pirate broadcast. At home I have just got a digital radio (not yet unpacked) but in the car (02 Focus with standard radio) I can,t see a way of avoiding the rap interludes that irritate me so much. There is never any conversation just constant rap. This has lasted for months now.

  When the cassette was put in, the units lights went out and the cassette would not play. When the cassette was ejected the lights came on and the CD/Radio would still play. The Cd then would not play and a day later the Radio would not play.All lights on the unit were out The fuse seems to be ok Please help

  What is the dab reception like. My experience of kitchen dab radios is that they can very touchy about positioning and aerials. Is this unit easy to fit and operate?

  I\'ve just bought a N Reg Nissan Primera (yesterday). Bought it privately, nice people, everything there except that the radio code they noted from the previous owner is not correct. The problem is that the battery has just been replaced and the radio (Blaupunkt Nissan)is crying out for a code I do not have. Do I have to go to a Nissan dealer or is there a cheaper/quicker/better way?

  I drive a 93 Vauxhall Cavalier V6 which will only allow me to listen to the stereo when the ignition is on. Is there a quick and easy wiring 'fix' that will let me listen to the radio without even having the keys in the ignition. I have a face off radio which I always remove when leaving the car, so there would be no fear of the battery draining (I hope). Thanks in advance....

  heard a rumour that the new police radios being issued cause allsorts of interference - one such example is the breath test machine (nowadays an electric box) often give false readings with the new police radio's nearby... so if you get knicked for drunk driving make sure you get a proper blood test done...

  My Laguna (18 months old) has its radio aerial built into the rear windscreen. The problem is that the connecting wire (which is soldered onto the windscreen) keeps falling off. It's virtually impossible to solder onto the glass and I am despairing at getting decent radio reception.

  My dog chewed the end of the removable radio panel of my Fiesta. A replacement is about £60, the cost being artificially high as a security measure to deter radio thefts. I'm all in favour of this, but surely if I "trade in" the damaged panel then security is not being compromised, I could buy a replacement at reasonable cost and Ford would have a happier customer.
