  Hello,    I have just recieved my car back from garage after having some work done. They have obviously dis-connected the battery at some point as the radio is now asking for the code. The car has all books and service history however the radio code is nowhere to be found. I have the vin number and the serial number off the radio, but the local (not helpful) dealer says he cannot get the code.

   I've changed the radio then Ford technical said it was the GEM module which I changed but the problem persists. Has anyone any ideas/experience with what this might be or if not could you point me to a good auto electronics engineer in the south of England.

  I have a 1997 SAAB 900se. Disconnected the battery so the radio cleared. Now when I put in the radio code from the book, the radio freezes. The numbers stay in the display but it doesn't play, and I can't turn it off (unless I turn off the car). It does nothing else.

  Hi,  A local mechanic was doing a bit of work on my car. He had to disconnect the battery and now i have to enter a code for the radio to turn it on which i don`t have.  Does anybody know what the code could be or how i go about getting the code to get the radio working again? Any help is much appreciated.

  Radio reception is crap on all 3 bands. I have fin on the roof from which I'm told is for the SATNAV system, but dont have SATNAV. Some say the rear window demister grid is used as Antenna, which the demister seems ok.a Any one know if there is amplifer located anywhere or if the fin is used for the radio and it has its own replaceable amplifer.

  Hi, I have a 6000-CD stereo in my Focus (2002 - 51) of which I've had since new and 2 weeks ago lost all reception to FM Radio channels. I can receive AM/MW stations no problem, CD is working OK, but no longer get FM stations. Removed Radio to confirm Aerial is still connected. Does anyone have any suggestions?

  Hi, when my wife's car was in for its MOT last week they had to change the battery as it was leaking. Obviously this kicked the radio out which now requests a 4 digit code. It has a 6000 CD radio in it with the serial number V012696. Just wondering if anyone would know the code as my wife has also misplaced the manual. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  The radio push button on the widescreen display monitor has stopped working. The Monitor is still working with Sat Nav, Computer info. I have checked the 3 radio fuses (1 front-2 rear) and all ok.

  I've just been given a Ford Fiesta by my Auntie who has stored it for two years. (It's done 350 miles since 2008) Obviously the radio needs the code typed in now and I haven't got it.  The radio is a FD6000 serial number M003805.  I was wondering if anyone can help.  I'm demented sitting in silience when I drive!
