Fuel Worry # 2 20 Mar 2002 (Forum)
I was day-dreaming at the gas station today and the pump attendant filled me (or rather my truck) up with leaded instead of unleaded. Engine seems fine so far. Should I worry? -
Chrysler Grand Voyager - Car Stereo Query 12 Sep 2012 (Forum)
- as the stereo only has 2 output phono sockets do i go for a 2 channel amp, or as the adapter lead connecting to the speakers has 4 phono cables do i need a 4 channel amp (and split the 2 outputs from the stereo into 4 before connecting to the amp)? - is the output from the amp always speaker wire terminals as my adapter lead has 4 phono plugs, will I need to rig up some conversion from speaker wire to phono socket? -

Is low mileage good on a used car? 29 Jan 2013 (Ask HJ)
My wife insists on low mileage, but I consider average, say 10 to 12,000 per year, is best. Who's right and why? -

Ford Mondeo III (2000 - 2007) - 02 2.0 Sludge in inlet manifold - diesel? 29 Oct 2008 (Forum)
Whilst driving at the weekend a slight wooshing noise whilst under boost indicated an air leak upstream of the turbo, I found a slight split in the "S" shaped rubber hose that leads from the intercooler to the EGR outlet tube that itself leads up to the inlet manifold. I fitted a new hose today, quite straightforward, and at the same time replaced the water/PAS pump aux belt while in that area of the engine. -
Vauxhall Astra G Petrol (1998 - 2004) - 1.6 16v 2003 Dual fuel. Tyres best prices inc fit 7 Mar 2008 (Forum)
I don\'t desire to go down that path again! I took them off the car and replaced them with a leading brand within a few hundred miles. Yes, that bad. I was told low grip/squeal was because they had a low rubber but high nylon content - hence cheap! -

Bump starting problem 3 Aug 2007 (Forum)
The only thing I didn't try was starting it and revving it, all this happened without touching the accelerator. I assume they got it going in the end, since someone else stopped and offered jump leads. I'd left my car blocking the exit ramp so had to go any fetch it. -
CD Changers with FM Modulator 26 Aug 2004 (Forum)
I'm quite keen on keeping the standard fit radio / cassette, so I want to fit a CD changer which will plug into the aerial lead. Questions: 1) Has anyone had any experience of the Kenwood KDC-CMP59FM CD/MP3 changer & modulator? 2) Are there any units where the main unit can sit in the boot, and the modulator sits behind the radio - i.e., so I don't have to re-route the aerial lead to/from the boot? -
Astra - slow cranking 28 Oct 2002 (Forum)
Whilst I know diesel engines sometimes take time to fire I never had this problem until approx 6 weeks ago. Until then the starter had turned quickly.Even with jump leads the starter seems quite sluggish. All this leads me to believe that the problem is with the starter but I would be grateful for any advice from you guys. Could there be another reason? Is there a way of testing the starter? -

engine cleaner 31 Jan 2007 (Forum)
Is there a spray on foam or something which will dissolve the oil in a way that it can then be washed off with a hose pipe or pressure washer (I would remove the plug leads and protect the dizzy cap etc). How effective is the method you are going to suggest? -
