  I have one of these fitted radios in my car and the interference on MW is normally bad but when the headlights are turned on it gets even worse. What is this due to and can I get soemthing like this sorted out under warranty? the FM reception is great and I can pick up stations I've never heard of from about 70 miles away.

  My 6000CD radio stopped working after I fitted a new battery, I entered the code but it still would not work. On checking I found that the VID is not in there,  the hand book explains how to enter the 16 character VIN number.

  My BMW business CD (standard) tends to 'blip' when listening to a CD, for about 2 secs, every 20 secs, for 10 mins or so, then is fine. Same with the radio, only it blips for half a sec, every 20 secs, for 10 mins or so of listening, then is fine.  Before i buy another unit, what checks should i perform? Why does it clear up, and why does it effect both CD and radio?

  Hi does anyone know where I could find a keycode for my radio , serial number M001811 please?   Also if anyone knows how I can get my aux lead to work I would be greatly apprecitaed. I bought it off ebay, I have managed to take the radio out and connect it to the back but it won't play off my mp3.

  I have a '06 plate Vauxhall Astra Club 1.7l diesel. Recently I've noticed that occasionally whilst playing a CD it sometimes turns itself over to radio for no apparent reason and I end up being fed traffic reports from radio 1 or something along those lines. I think RDS or whatever it is turned on, could this be the answer to my problems if so, how do I turn this off?

  Hi, Started car, radio on. Drove for 2 minutes, radio switched itself off / on, then ejected CD. Reloaded CD and selected a different preset station, found not to stored. Stopped car 10 minutes later fiddled with controls, again ejected CD by itself.

  All the usual searches having proved fruitless can anyone please advise if they know of, or have seen available somewhere, a miniature car radio. By this I mean, a radio unit ( little black box ) much smaller than the standard car units, without all the bells and whistles, which will pick up one or two preprogrammed stations only ( and stay on them once selected ) Where the on/off switch and two small speakers, can be mounted remote from the unit and the unit can still use the standard car antenna.

  Hello all, I have just noticed my car radio reduces in volume down to zero.  Does this quite quickly without my touching it.  Whether am playing CD or have the radio on. Goes from say 13 down through the numbers to 0 very quickly.

  I recently bought a used Vauxhall Astra and after some work involving disconnecting the battery, I needed to re code the radio. Using the code I got with the vehicle, I tried four times without success to re activate the radio. After some digging around, I found the set had been upgraded from a CAR 400 to a CDR 500. You guessed it I was using the wrong code.

  My friend has fitted a Kenwood DAB radio adaptor to her 207 SW. The car suddenly stopped a day after but restarted when she took the adaptor out of the power socket. Knowing how fragile the electronics are on the Peugeot. Could this be the cause because the radiation signals interfered with the cars electronics ?

  The radio comes on at random intervals- can make you jump if it was left on loud by last driver, so I think it's dangerous.  Dealer can't fix it - they have asked me to keep a diary of when it happens, but it seems completely random, nothing to do with using the touch screen.
