  Hello, I recently had the battery changed on my 2002 LX, however it caused the radio to reset. I managed to get the serial number after a few hours of messing around, would anyone be able to provide the number to get the radio working again? Serial is M144566 Thanks

  My daughter has acquired a Ford Ka, 2002, which has an after market radio. We now have the option to replace an original Ford Ka - RDS 5000 model radio, but would need to identify the security code for it. The Serial number is - M019112. I am would like to ask if anyone is able to identify the code for this unit.

  Hello, I have a slightly upset girlfriend who had a battery replaced at KF recently and now her radio isn't working, it keeps asking for the pin number which is not in the manual anywhere. The car is an 04 Ford Fiesta and the radio serial number is M215933. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Hi. I have just purchased the above car.It has the original ford radio with a seperate cd player underneat.The serial no of the radio appears to be 7c011963 and the no on the cd player is n0037701. I am not sure if the cd needs a seperate code to work perhaps some one out there can help.

  hi we have a citroen 1.6 16v 2003,for some strange reason,when we turn the radio on there is a beeping noise which beeps constantly( like a heart monitor beep ),it is the original radio fitted to the car and it was bought secondhand like that. any help would be great thanks

  Hi -- I'm new on here and looking for advice. Hope I'm doing this right !! I have a 6 year old BMW 530i and the radio / time display is now illegible as the pixels are quickly fading (BMW radio, factory fitted). Also got "funny" pixel shapes on the AC screen. Initial enquiries to BMW dealership suggest that it will cost £450 - £500 to replace.

  My 99 406,has a problem with the radio reception,whereas,one minute it's fine,the next it loses signal,and hisses. We have a local radio station near us,and even outside the building,it won't pick up the signal!!!! The aerial base and aerial were recently replaced with brand new items from Peugeot,but still it persists.

  I have a passat with the standard radio cassette player (it has 'GAMMA' on the little flap that you put the cassette in) and seperate CD player. When listening to music on the radio, the sound changes as though the treble has been turned right down.

  Hi, can someone help me please?...I put a new battery in my wife's 07 plate Mondeo, fitted with a 6000CD radio. We did not have the radio code for it, but I got one from an e-bay site today. It does NOT seem to work. The radio serial number (obtained by using buttons 1 & 6) came up as 053472; I was given the code 7204.

  What's your favourite factory fitted radio? Are you after quality of sound or ease of use? My favourite for ease of use is a Ford 7000 as fitted to Mondeos 96-99 and Scorpios indeed any Ford radios of this era are an absolute doddle to master, very user friendly.
