Review: MASH Black Seven 125 (productReview)
It's also very lightweight at 112kg, meaning its easy to push around (both when we're sat on it and when we're pushing it around our garage). That's an important point for learners or new riders who aren't so confident and will almost certainly have some worries about dropping their first bike. For shorter riders (like myself; 5'7"), the bike is also reassuringly small with a seat height of 780mm. -
Review: Garmin Dash Cam Mini (productReview)
The footage itself is clear and smooth, if not quite as sharp as a Nextbase 222, but you can clearly read number plates and it copes well in bright conditions. It's important to note that YouTube compresses footage and even on the best 1080p settings, so the video above isn't as sharp as the raw footage captured by the camera. While it has WiFi, the Garmin Mini doesn't have GPS so won't record your location or - more importantly - your speed. -
Top 10: Best Trolley jacks 2023 (Article)
It still has a high maximum lift of 470mm, though, and its rubberised saddle will protect against damage. Do check with your retailer what the warranty situation is, though, as these are imported from the US. Draper 31481 2 Tonne Low Profile Quick Lift This mid-range Draper jack is a good choice for those who have a car that sits close to the ground, thanks to its low-profile construction. -
Review: Scalextric ARC One American Classics (productReview)
The track slots together in a similar fashion and is actually a bit easier to do, although it's not something you'll want to be doing on a regular basis as taking it apart is a little fiddly. It does require some space too because it's about two metres in length, which is important to consider if you don't want to be tripping over it on the living room floor... There are nine different tracks you can construct from this set, giving you plenty of variety and play life. -
Review: Peugeot eF01 folding e-bike (productReview)
In fact, weighing in at close to 19kg, the eF01 is twice as heavy as a standard Brompton. And almost twice as expensive too, with prices starting in the region of £1760. But it's important to note that e-bikes are, in general, a lot more expensive than their pedal-powered rivals. The electric Brompton, for example, stats at a £2596, while cheaper alternatives like the Raleigh Stow-E Way are available from £1100. -

Top 10: Best robot vacuum cleaners (Article)
Ariete Pro Evolution Red - £178.60 A significant jump in price, the Ariete also ups the feature count compared to some of the cheaper options. Of greatest importance to many will be the option to switch between primary and HEPA-level filtering, which should provide a higher standard of cleaning performance. The 300ml tank should last the 90-minute running time and there are three cleaning modes to suit your needs too. -
Top 10: Best dash cameras to suit all budgets (Article)
It may be missing things like GPS but the footage it takes is excellent, which at the end of the day is usually the most important factor of all. It doesn't take any time to set up and once fitted you can just leave it alone to record in the background. It's also reliable and easy to use, so although not the cheapest dash cam around, we think it's a worthwhile investment given the quality of the footage it captures. -
Review: Peugeot Django 125 2017 (productReview)
There are three versions – a 50cc, a 125cc and a 150cc. Obviously the learner-friendly 125 is the most important – but the 50cc has its place if you have an AM entitlement on your driver’s licence, or for 16-year-olds. The 150cc version, on the other hand, seems like an odd thing to sell given its limited appeal for those with a full licence. -
Sat nav buying advice guide (Article)
width=500&height=333.125" alt="" data-udi="umb://media/64a1bd2b6db84c9f8d00ba47029b0f70" /> Screen size is another important factor. Most budget units have a four-inch touchscreen, with the more expensive ones featuring five- and six-inch screens. A bigger screen gives you a clearer view of the route making it easier to see what’s going on at a glance. -
Cheap van tyre buying advice (Article)
Some drivers will fit larger wheels to improve the all-road handling of their van, while others will simply do so to improve the aesthetic look of their vehicle by swapping steel wheels with alloys. Whatever the reason for upsizing, it’s important to note that the van’s fuel economy and ride comfort may suffer. Changing the wheel size may require the van's speedometer and electronic safety systems to be recalibrated, while some insurers will increase the premiums to reflect the additional cost of the new wheels and tyres. -
Review: Cybex Anoris T i-Size (productReview)
It's suitable for children from around 15 months to approximately 6 years old (or 76cm to 115cm to be precise) so it's important to check your child's height to make sure they fit safely. It also features the impact shield, in place of a five point harness. This can be can be adjusted to give growing children plenty of movement while also offering protection. -
Review: Kawasaki Z-125 (productReview)
The Z-125 marks Kawasaki’s return to the A1 licence class, which it was last present in back in 1991. That’s important news for the Big K and for those looking for a learner-legal machine with more than a bit of style and chutzpah to it. Compared to a lot of others in this sector, the baby Zed has bags of appeal as it looks very much like its larger siblings that enjoy a good degree of cult status. -

Nextbase Universal Tablet Mount - £50 Keeping little ones occupied on a long journey is important – it prevents them from distracting the driver, which in turn reduces the chance of having an accident. A tablet PC is obviously an ideal device to have in the car for that purpose, since it can play videos and is easy to use. -
Top 10: Hondas that aren’t cars (Article)
Probably not, unless they are in rural-most Scotland. But for places like Canada and Scandinavia snowthrowers are very important indeed. Just another one of the many things made by Honda that isn’t a car. -
Review: Piaggio MP3 300 and 500 (productReview)
It’s now available in 300 and 500 guises, providing the option of something ideally suited to town riding with the smaller capacity and the ability to commute on the motorway with the larger engined model. That’s an important point with the MP3 as it’s not just aimed at scooter users looking to move up the food chain to a bigger, comfier (and pricier) machine. This bike also clearly has car drivers in mind who are considering a swap from four wheels to beat congestion. -

Van and pick-up road tax VED rates 2022-2023 (Article)
Taxing a vehicle is a lot easier than it used to be, with payment now being accepted online or over the phone via a dedicated 24-hour help line. It's important to note that you can no longer ‘inherit’ the remaining road tax, if you buy a used vehicle. Instead the previous owner will claim a refund for the remaining VED road tax, which means the new owner needs to tax the vehicle before organising insurance and driving it away. Before you get started, you will need a means of payment, a vehicle with a valid MoT (and possibly the certificate) and either the V5C, a V11 reminder or the ‘green slip’ if you’ve bought the vehicle second-hand. -
How to sell your van (Article)
>>> Read more about buying and selling a van on eBay Meeting potential buyers Dealing with potential buyers is perhaps the most important part of the van selling process, but it’s important to remain calm and provide measured responses to ensure you stay safe and get the best price. When booking viewings, ask all potential buyers for their names and contact numbers so you can contact them if the van sells before they arrive.
