  • Review: Anker Soundcore Flare (productReview)
width=500&height=333.33333333333337" alt="" data-udi="umb://media/3ce89702077e44ba8cfbd70d83d25017" /> Setting it up couldn’t be easier – just hit the Bluetooth button on the speaker, start a search using your Bluetooth music device (most likely your phone) and the Soundcore will pair up. From then on, whenever the Soundcore is switched on it will automatically pair with the last device it was hooked to. And when it does it’ll treat you to a fancy audible alert, which it’ll also do when it powers on or off. Another nice little touch. The top of the cylinder houses buttons for volume, bass boost and the lights — while the play/pause button can be used for a variety of things, including taking calls and activating voice control on a smartphone.
  • Review: Lenco L-400 Turntable (productReview)
If you're used to a more old-school record player, the L-400 can seem a little over-complicated at first. For starters, if you lift the arm, the turntable doesn't start spinning automatically, instead, you have to press the start/stop button. Similarly, at the end of a record, it doesn't auto-return, the record will just continue to spin. You have to manually lift the arm and replace it.

  • Top 10: Dash cams under £20 (Article)
MILALOKO Full HD 1080P Car Camera - £18.95 Excuse the sudden 30 per cent rise in price, but the MILALOKO justifies the extra £4.45 on account of some features we’ve not seen on any of these other offerings. It’s compact like the PHARMIS, which is always a plus, and also offers automatic file save in the event of you clocking excess g-force. Uniquely, it received almost universal praise from Amazon reviewers. This may be the sweet spot after all.

  • Review: Peugeot Django 125 2017 (productReview)
The engine is a simple, air-cooled single-cylinder with fuel-injection, linked to a typical twist and go automatic transmission. It’s a tried-and-true scooter recipe and it works well here. The Django is incredibly easy to ride, and yet it has a surprising turn of pace, with 60mph easily within reach and just a touch more in reserve if needed.
  • Review: AUKEY DR01 dash camera (productReview)
The DR01 also has Emergency Recording Mode, so when the G-Sensor is activated by sharp turns or sudden stops, the dash cam automatically starts filming. There aren't many settings to alter, but you can control the recording resolution the length of clip you want to record - between three, five and ten minutes. Audio recording can be turned off, although this can be useful if you need to read out a license plate number in case the video doesn't pick it up.

Whether you are planning to launch a full time van-based catering businesses or work ad hoc by serving burgers at the weekend, a mobile food businesses will need some form of public liability insurance. Public liability is not automatically included in mobile catering van insurance, so always check with the policy provider. • Review: Wahoo Elemnt Roam V2 cycling computer (productReview)
It's a brilliant app that's easy to connect and then tailor the Roam V2 to your own tastes, as well as connect other devices and link it up to Strava and other apps. Not only does this mean that rides are automatically uploaded to Strava once you've saved a ride, but you can also select Strava routes and segments and send them to the Roam V2.
Review: Carluex Air wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto adaptor (productReview)
The BYD comes with a huge central touchscreen, which is useful to showcase the Carluex Air, although it also works well on smaller screens and will automatically resize accordingly. Once connected, it brings up the Carluex Air screen - essentially turning your car screen into a tablet in its own right. It comes pre-loaded with Netflix, Spotify and YouTube.
  • Review: Dyson V11 Absolute vacuum cleaner (productReview)
This changes as you use different attachments and change suction modes, i.e. if you move from carpet to a hard floor, the battery percentage and the time it shows left will increase because the vacuum will automatically change to a lower suction mode. Switching between these suction modes can be handled manually by a single button below the LCD screen.
Review: Nextbase 222 dash camera (productReview)
There is however a much improved magnetic mount, plus both an adhesive and suction mount included, giving you the choice of how to attach it your windscreen. The Intelligent Parking Mode switches on automatically when the car ignition is turned off and will record for three minutes if the G sensor registers any movement.  Nextbase also offers cloud storage, so you can easily send your files to other parties, such as the police or insurance.
  • Review: Anker Roav Viva (productReview)
To get started, you need to install the Roav VIVA app, which is free and available on   Android   or   iOS (iPhone). Once you connect your mobile to the VIVA via Bluetooth for the first time, it will then automatically connect to your phone whenever you start your car with the VIVA plugged into the 12v cigarette lighter. The app is easy to use, but it does  involve creating an account (ugh) and then linking to your Amazon account.
  • Top 10: Dash cams under £50 2020 (Article)
The RBGDC50 is its mid-level offering and amongst the usual features you'd expect to see, it has motion detection and a G sensor for automatic footage capture, with 1080p recording via a wide-angle lens. The RBGDC50 is of decent quality, easy to use and produces usable footage. If you’re looking for a straightforward, serviceable unit from a known brand, this should do the job.
  • Review: Azdome GS63H (productReview)
The GS63H has a parking mode with a motion sensor, so the camera will switch on and start recording if the camera is moved or jolted. It automatically protects this clip too, although when we tested this, we found it needed a considerable amount of movement for it to switch on. A minor 'nudge' from another car wouldn't necessarily see it switch on and record.
  • Cheap ice cream van insurance (Article)
.  Always make a note of the compulsory (sometimes labelled as 'voluntary') insurance excess - this is the amount of money the insurer will automatically deduct from a claim.  And as with many things in life, the insurance deals with the cheapest cover tend to have the highest level of excess. Will the policy include business takings and stock?
