Advice re buying a secondhand crossover 1 Jun 2017 (Forum)
We tend to keep our cars as long as possible and drive them into the ground, so value retention isn't important - in fact if they have lost a significant amount from new that would be ideal. We're looking for a decent spec'd version with as many bells and whistles as possible. We aren't bothered by make so that isn't a consideration. -
Low mileage Older Car 28 Apr 2017 (Forum)
My concern is the exceptionaly low mileage. I know there are variables but as a general rule is this a plus or minus or not important ? Higher mileages are cheaper. I realise no crystal balls available but is there anything expensive likely in the next 4 or 5 years ? Anything to look out for ? Any advice appreciated. -

Current car is a ford Fusion diesel that was bought at 85k and now just reached 150k but cost me a new clutch and Flyweek ( £700 ) - A couple of Leaking Injectors ( £300 ) - Shock Absorbers ( £150 ) in 3 years . -

Mitsubishi - Vehicle Fails Day After Purchase - Buyers Rights? 5 Feb 2016 (Forum)
Person buys a 51 plate Pajero (import) from a dealer 150 miles away. Drives it home and next day head gasket goes; possibly due to heater matrix? It was taken to a local garage for an assessment and quote. The selling dealer was informed but he doesn't seem to want anything to do with it. -
