  One-in-five drivers leaves oil checks too late 1 Jul 2013 (News)
  Research conducted on behalf of engine oil manufacturer Mobil 1 shows that one in five drivers don’t check their oil until prompted by a low oil level warning. Fair enough, 80% manage, but it’s tremendously important to regularly check oil levels and it’s not difficult. Furthermore, when it comes to actually checking oil more than half (51.6%) of drivers let someone else do the job, whether that be a friend, relative or someone at a garage. 60.2% of respondents to the survey said they had their oil changed once a month at most, while 45.7% didn’t know what the recommended oil change interval for their car was.

  Immediately handed over to a Slovakian children's charity - the Red Nose Clowndoctors - the cee'd is also the 600,000 th version of the Zilina factory's first car. The factory now also produces Sportage and Venga. "Kia Motors Slovakia has achieved an important milestone in its history with the production of the millionth car. We decided to donate it to an organisation which will bring pleasure to children during their stay in hospitals," said Eek-Hee Lee, President and CEO of Kia Motors Slovakia.  Kia Motors Slovakia recorded a 10% year-on-year increase in car production and a 12% year-on-year increase in engine production during 2011, when it produced more than 252,000 cars and 359,000 engines.

  Mass production was officially launched in the first European Hyundai automotive plant – Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech in Nosovice, the Czech Republic. “The Hyundai plant is such a large investment and important production influence on the GDP and will amount to around 1 percent a year and trade surplus will grow by around CZK 50 billion a year after the plant switches to full capacity,” said Martin Riman, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.
