  One to Watch: Mercedes-Benz S-class (W108) 22 Jan 2019 (News)
  Mercedes was at the top of its game in the late 1960s, producing some of the best-made cars on the planet.   Auction Results: Mk IX Jaguar is top lot at Barons sale 25 Sep 2017 (News)
  A 1959 Jaguar MkIX was the star of Barons’ sale. The car, which was restored six years ago, fetched £44,000 at the Kempton Park auction. Second best-seller was a 1969 Jaguar E-type S2 2+2 coupe, which made £40,150 at the Jaguar Heritage, Classic, and Sports Car sale on 16 September.

  Barn finds in demand at Barons auction 21 Jun 2017 (News)
  Barn finds were the big winners at Barons’ British Heritage, Classic and Sports Cars sale. Bidders competed over the 1971 Bristol 411 S2, the 1954 Jaguar XK140, and the 1981 Morgan 4/4. This tempting trio of restorations all exceeded their guide prices, selling for £28,600, £16,775 and £11,600 respectively on 13 June at Sandown Park.

  New drivers to lose licence if caught using a phone 1 Mar 2017 (News)
  The Department for Transport said that one in five deaths caused by distractions in 2012 were because of mobile use, a higher death rate than other in-car causes. This had risen to 22 fatal accidents in 2015, but nobody was jailed as a result. In fact, the number of convictions for mobile phone use has halved, as have fines imposed by the courts, since 2010.

  Report: Barons 17th December 2013 23 Dec 2013 (News)
  While a one owner, low mileage TR6 eventually sold for £14,572 inclusive after being bid to £12,000 under the hammer. Much negotiation was required with the car’s only owner but a deal was eventually done. A beautiful TR250 was also sold at £19,612, again after a provisional bid, while a LHD, Alfa 1600GT Junior went for  £12,332 and a 2.0 Spider achieved £8.412.
