Ford Focus 18 May 2010 (Forum)
Been checking on my local Ford dealers site and there are quite a few 57 plate 1.6 Focuses for sale for £ 6995. What are running costs like for this and are they reliable? My old man hated Fords and always told me to avoid them and some of this prejudice has carried on for me as I was always told they were a lottery to buy. -

Why no one seater car? 22 Jan 2010 (Forum)
During peak hours, 90% of cars on road are just occupied by driver alone. Why manufacturers are not bringing out one seater cars? It should cost pennies to run and should be environmentally friendly as well :) Hope you don't suggest using motorcycles - a car is a car, even if it has just one seat. Surprisingly, 2-seater cars usually cost more than family cars! -

Question for the more technically minded amongst you: my J reg MR2, which is running otherwise smoothly with 125K on the clock, is making a song and dance about road surfaces that are less than billiard smooth. It "pitter patters" and bangs on the smallest of bumps. The ride quality was always fairly dreadful, so I haven't really noticed a deterioration... any ideas? -
