Cars, including the Jaguar C-X75, Range Rover Sport SVR and the iconic Land Rover Defender, stole the show as they were unveiled in public for the first time at the palatial Thurn und Taxis in Frankfurt. -

British classics dominated day one of the Silverstone Auctions NEC Classic Motor Show sale, raising more than £500,000 as bidders jostled to buy historic Aston Martins, Jaguars and Minis. The car of the day was superb 1994 Jaguar XJ220, which raised a fitting £220,000. The right-hand drive supercar was formerly owned by the Brunei Royal Family who placed the factory order in 1991. The car has covered just 6000 miles. -

BID WITH BCA FOR CANCER RESEARCH UK 1 Jun 2008 (News)
The 1995 Mercedes Benz 500 SL has been generously donated to Cancer Research UK by a supporter and is being sold by BCA with all the proceeds going to the charity. The car is finished in silver, with blue leather trim and blue canvas power-hood. It is equipped with the optional wind deflector as well as the usual SL refinements. This one-owner car has covered less than 10,000 miles and must be one of the lowest mileage examples anywhere in the UK. -
Veteran Toledo steam car set for Regent Street Motor Show 9 Oct 2014 (News)
