Peugeot 5008 - Car starting problems - electrical fault 25 Dec 2020 (Forum)
But, if I leave it for a few hours, it then starts ok although the battery light stays on and then it goes off after a while. It then runs perfectly until the next time it happens. I have taken it to the Peugeot dealer and they have run the diagnostics but couldn't find anything wrong - they say they need to replicate the fault to find out the problem but as it is intermittent this is almost impossible. -

Peugeot Partner Combi 1.6 hdi - Broken Glow Plug removal. 23 Dec 2017 (Forum)
Plus they made the point that the Gplug circuit isn't just for glow plugs and injectors will be affected as well even though the car was still running. So let them remove the head and tap the broken Gplug end out with a pin punch and reassemble plus New Timing belt ,water pump serviced etc. Car is transformed, starts fine, runs better than ever. -
