  Does anyone know whether this version will be introduced to the UK? I suppose it would be completely silly to import one from Ireland?

  All belts recently replaced on our L-reg Mitsubishi Chariot (import). But we keep having to go back to the garage because the belt(s) keep screeching, and the garage says Mitsubishi are (in)famous for this. Any suggestions I can pass on to them?

  Whilst driving on the M3 outside Winchester on Monday I was overtaken by a nice-looking black Toyota saloon, badged 'WINDOM'. It had a square rear no. plate which I think denotes a grey import. Does any backroomer have any info on it? P.

  I am looking to buy a new Golf 2.0 GTI in metallic paint and have found that www.drivethedeal.com are offering this car at £1044 cheaper than the local dealer. They have told me it is not an import and comes with 3 years manufacturers warranty. Could I have your comments please?

  I recently imported a Ford Focus with a radio that is requiring a code and I do not seem to have access to the code. The serial number for the radio is N646023 . Model is 6000NE . I need help to be able to switch on the radio .

  My car's windscreen has recently acquired a 4 mm o.d. "bullseye" stone chip. How important is it that I get it repaired fairly quickly? Fortunately it isn't in my field of vision ~ it's right in front of the rear view mirror. -- L\'escargot.

  i wish to replace my 1996 1.9 tdi vw vento with something £5000 max i do gardening on an ad hoc basis and require space for tools also reliability/servicing/insurance are important. my current mpg is 55 any ideas thanks corkball

  considering buying one of these from an import supermarket - HJ highlights a fairly low rating on customer survey for reliability. Any good or bad experiences out there ? has the 1.6 got enough poke for day to day running around or will my wife be better with a 1.8 ?

  I need a nice cabin with an excellent music system as the kids enjoy music; the music is on as soon as they get in the vehicle. I am inclined to buy the 2011-2012 Volvo V50 2.0 ltr Petrol (Japan imported). I like the shape of the vehicle; very sharp and classic; the interior is good, the Infotainment system is excellent,  it comes with heated leather seats and a sunroof, and it is spotless, like most Japanese import vehicles.

  Cubans had a ban on importing cars and so were obliged to run their old models for years. The streets are full of old American cars, with a lower supply of ice cars over here will our motorists adopt a similar approach and hang on to their vehicles for a very long time?

  Honda have just announced that their Swindon plant will close in 2022. A consequence of the recent trade deal signed between Japan and the EU where Japanese imports into the EU will become tariff free perhaps? Or something else maybe?

  It seems that the Americans want to impose a 219% import tariff on the planes that a US airline wants to buy. I seem to remember in the brexit debate that  the US was going to be a great trading partner for us and we would be first in the queue for a deal.

  If you were to buy a diesel car with a budget of £2500 to £3000 which one would you pick from these 3 and why? Mazda 626, VW Bora and Seat Toledo. Reliability and running costs are the most important factors. Looks and badge don't matter at all. Thanks!

  Have got so fed up with VW garages I have changed my vento auto fluid by syphoning out and replacing about 3 litres of atf. I didn\'t change the filter.How important is an auto gearbox filter ?
