    It was purchased by its last owner in 1999 from Oxley Threads, who had preserved the vehicle in dehumidified storage following a nut and bolt restoration in 1990. Between 1990 and 1999 the vehicle hardly turned a wheel other than for periodic servicing and cleaning.  For the last eleven years it has been used and enjoyed in Spain and England as part of a small collection of classic cars.

  Reportedly one of the quickest E-Type racers running in its day, it also took part in the Brighton Speed Trials in 1977 and 1978 and was last raced in the late 1970s before being placed in storage. The car was to sustain damage to its paintwork during the hurricane of 1987 when the roof was blown off the building it was stored in, and consequently the car is offered requiring some refurbishment and restoration.

  .   A 1981 DeLorean DMC-12, of the type immortalised in the film 'Back to the Future' and through the demise of its infamous founder, John DeLorean, has never been registered.   I have had two of these models previously and no problems and was expecting the new Zetec to be the same. Each of thes cars had underseat storage space under the front passenger seat, very handy , the new car has not got this storage space, Ford have done away with it.which is their right, however, no indication from the dealer nor in the glossy booklet, it has simply not been mentioned,.
