  Hi  A mechanic found play in the steering of my Citroen C4 1.6 (08). The symptoms were a bit of vibration in the wheel over 65mph, and slight rumble. Apart from that, the steering is behaving as normal, occasional noise when turning 90 degrees at low speed.

  Hi all I have two points of interest at the moment with my “project” also known as my labour of love! Bit of background- working on restoring my old Citroen cx. Work in progress and cash has gotten tight. So the bodywork is dire. Needs a complete respray and some coaschworks. Currently saving to do this but it’ll be several thousand. So how do I protect the metal in the meantime (someone has already rubbed it down and there is some surface rust) I was thinking the cost effective way is to give it a lick of Matt black until it gets the paint job it deserves?

  Hi, My Citroen spluttered to a halt on the Mortoway last week, lost all power and ECU warning light.  I limped the car along to nearby family member and called Green Flag.  During that journey, the power seemed to recover but the ECU warning stayed on;  Green Flag checked the codes which seemed to indicate a fuel leak, but then went on to check the car very very thoroughly.

  Hello All, I have a Citroen C4 1.6HDi 90 Diesel CRD VTR (59 plate), which recently starting cutting out and displying an Anti Pollution Warning. It was taken straight to the garage from where we had bought the car. They diagnosed the fault as being the HP Pump Sensor, which they replaced and told us the car was ready for collection.

  Obviously remove all the other anti theft bolts first in case the adaptor is useless after this. Replace all with proper citroen blots afterwards; never tighten a bolt on a hub unless you have applied copper grease first.  Have fun PG
