  • Review: KTM 125 Duke (productReview)
It’s not so quick to turn in that it will catch new riders unaware, but you certainly feel it’s much more alert than most of the competition. The front end is suspended on 43mm WP forks that look suitably chunky and are in keeping with the grown-up feel and look of the Duke. At the back, you get a WP monoshock set-up, so it’s quality gear at both ends - which is reflected in the way this 125 deals with patchwork road surfaces.
  • Review: Thule Gauntlet 3.0 Attaché (productReview)
The Gauntlet 3.0 Attaché feels like it is built to take a few knocks and most of the protection is provided by the clamshell front, which cushions any blows and prevents them getting anywhere near the laptop at the back. The hardened edges also provide rigid structure too, limiting any damage should you drop it.  As well as space for a 13-inch laptop, the bag has two deep pockets, with storage for power leads and computer accessories.

  • Top 10: Used Motorcycles for £3000 (Article)
Good handling, strong braking and fine comfort make it a bike you’ll want to use and the MT-125 comes with a surprising amount of standard kit. You get an LED headlight, digital dash, inverted front forks and even a radially-mounted front brake caliper. All this for a 2017 bike with less than 10,000 miles and we’d expect some change from our £3000 budget. Triumph Speed Triple This was the bike that really put Triumph on the map.
  • Top 10: Christmas games for families (Article)
Articulate Another example of the maxim that the best games are the most simple, Articulate simply asks you to describe the what’s on the card in front of you. The problem is you can’t use rhymes, ‘sounds like’ or mime - only the power of description. Hilarious and suitable for big groups, it is recommended for those aged 12 and up. Exploding Kittens If you’re familiar with the web cartoon page The Oatmeal then you may have heard of Exploding Kittens.
  • Review: Karcher FC5 Hard Floor Cleaner (productReview)
It works by using two forward-rotating fleece rollers at the front of the machine, which picks up clean water from the built-in tank and rotates at 500rpm. They pick up debris from the floor and scrub at the same time.
    Review: Shark Spartan helmet (productReview)
These are designed to create low pressure behind the rear vent, which pulls cool air through the top of the helmet if you open the front vent. It works wonderfully. Most helmets have ventilation, but it rarely ever does anything to improve comfort on a warm day. This system really works. In terms of noise, the Spartan is very good.
  • Review: Thule Atmos X4 phone case (productReview)
There are no rough edges or shiny finished, instead you get a very sturdy one-piece shell that easily clips over your phone with a snug fit. It comes with a screen protector - essentially a plastic film you stick onto the glass front. We're not big fans of these but it will help protect the screen from scratches, although not from being cracked.  But even without the plastic protector, the Atmos X4 does an excellent job.
  • Used Van Buying Guide: Volkswagen Transporter T5 2003-2015 (Article)
Many companies offer a van history data check and we’d recommend using one, even if a used car seller says this has already been carried out. Better to spend a few pounds and be safe than sorry – and checks can be carried out online, via mobile phone or by apps on tablet PCs. Volkswagen T5 Transporter Pricing The T5 has been around over a decade and strong sales means there are plenty around.

  • Top 10: Cafe racers in 2023 (Article)
This means more power, up to 65PS from the old bike’s 55PS, while stronger brakes make a big improvement to confidence and stopping power. The ride and handling are better, too, courtesy of new KYB front forks. Perhaps one of the most notable changes to the Street Twin is the addition of rider modes. This gives you a choice of Road or Rain settings and there’s quite a marked difference between them, with the Road setting giving a much sharper throttle response.

  • Review: Eufy RoboVac 30C (productReview)
The RoboVac 30C is a powerful bit of kit with its 1500Pa suction power cleaning up dust, crumbs and dried mud with ease. The unit uses two large brushes at the front to collect loose dirt and brush the edge of sideboards and cupboards. A large roller brush (located under the unit) digs out larger items before they are sucked up and compacted into a 0.6-litre container at the rear of the machine.
  • Review: Sphero Mini (productReview)
There are various different driving methods - you can use a standard virtual joystick, the tilt control or even with your lovely face. The latter uses the front-facing camera on your mobile phone, with expressions and head tilts corresponding to different directions. However, when it comes down to it, the ball mostly just rolls around in one place or zooms off in a random direction whenever the required scowl, shock face or sad expression is made.

  • Review: Lexmoto Viper 125 2017 (productReview)
width=500&height=333.33333333333337" alt="" data-udi="umb://media/7dffd45975744bff92616d71dbba4bcd" /> If you’re an urban rider, fitting through gaps and sprinting away from traffic lights is easy and the bike has just about enough road presence to be noticed by car drivers – though whether they’ll respect your L plates is a different matter. Take to a twisting road and the Viper is a decent ride – the suspension soaks up the worst bumps, while the bars give plenty of leverage.
  • Cheap van tyre buying advice (Article)
Check the pressures when the tyres are cold. The PSI will increase as you drive and the tyres heat up, which could give you a misleading reading.  If you’re using an automatic device you simply set the tyre to the desired pressure and it will inflate until the correct reading has been achieved - and don’t forget to replace the dustcaps afterwards.
