  Most cars benefit from a good long fast run every now and then. My old 1.1 Fiesta would feel much more lively after a 500 mile thrash up to North Wales and back. But with many cars capable of over 150mph, how do you give them a good workout?

  Hi,  The heater I=on my Laguna 1  1998 does not low hot air and the cooling fan runs on after te enfune is switched off.  It never used to do this. Is there an easy fix.   Also , I noticd the sunroof is leaking making the interior steamed up windows   Can you help please

  Hello I have a Peugeot 206 which runs perfectly throughout the year until it gets hot. On hot days there is about 2 second delay in acceleration which is very worrying at junctions and roundabouts. It is currently in the garage but the mechanic can’t find a fault with it when it’s plugged in.

  The sump has been opened and cleaned out along with the oil pickup pipe - No debris found. The engine run sweet and there is no smoke or loss of oil...Any ideas?

   The setting in driver assist is ticked as enabled, the symbol on the dash is showing OFF, after trying a few setting changes nothing alters the symbol to ON on the dash I have run out of ideas.any help appreciated

  Just wondering is it possible to Remove the Turbo Internals on a Focus 1.6 TDCI, and blank of the oil supply, and run the car as a non turbo essentially ? will this cause any other issues ? apart form bieng very slow of course !

The landrover dealer, after a brief engine run, diagnosted this as caused by the power-steering oil being contaminated with metal fragments.   My son accidentally left bathe lights on my car and drained the battery. He jump started it and though the car runs fine , the speedometer, Rev counter and powers tearing are not working, any idea what the problem might be and could it be serious and therefore costly?

  On collecting my Mercedes from the specialist who services I was pleasantly surprised to find he had charged me 0.83 of an hour for part of the job. I expect most garages would have rounded this up. This guy runs probably the best garage I have ever been to. Service is always seond to none.

  I recently had a car run into my car while parked. The insurance company may want to write it off. Once their engineer has inspected it will I have a choice over whether it is written off or not. I want to keep the option of having it repaired at my expense without going through the insurance

  Has climate control! Inside windscreen was frozen so put heating on, suddenly after 5 main it all stopped,no heater running and the dashboard lights on heater controls all off, noticed when I turned of headlights the heater display lights tried to to come on but only faint! Please help?

  i have a 2 litre van 2000 year.  diesel very hard to start and cuts out when running ( actually moving) had to a garage today and they said it is an electrical problem and i need an auto electrician, fuel does come out of injectors. will this be an expensive job, what do you think it is thats wrong

  Hi My 407 2.0 hdi wont start properly unless i give the primer bulb a few squeezes(it will start without the primer but takes a lot of cranking) it drives perfectly once its running. could  this be a fault with the fuel filter?   al
