  Off to look at a private 2003 Mondeo tdci zetec s estate, 48k miles, silver, £3,500. The guys retired and had the car for 2.5 years, don't yet know how many previous owners. I've read much of the stuff in here about reliability etc, and I need to (somehow!)
• Peugeot 205 (1983 - 1997) - 93 1769 N/S Inner Driveshaft Boot 15 Apr 2009 (Forum)
  Peugeot Diesel 1769 non Turbo. Looking at my split N/S Inner Driveshaft Boot it seems like a straight shaft removal and slip the boot over the Inner joint from the inboard end using the Draper expansion funnel. However the Haynes manual reckons to unpeen the joint cover etc.

  Incidentally, I know H.J. is an advocate of RFT`s, but the improvement to the ride, steering control and reduction in road noise has totally transformed the car for the better. There is no question that in cold weather, RFT`s are positively dangerous with serious tramlining and bone shaking ride.

  Hi I am trying to find the location of the horn on a 1998 S-Class. I suppose I should get in quick and say that I am trying to find it to fix it, before somebody suggests listening to where the noise comes from :o) !! I have taken the plastic engine bay surrounds off both wings and had a good look in and around the front grill with no luck.

  I have a Fiat Punto S, 1999 (X reg). I have experienced difficulties with it as the car overheats minutes after igniting it in this cold chill. The radiator water level requires to be topped up almost everyday with at least half to one litre of water.
• S Type misfire after car wash 4 Jan 2005 (Forum)
  about 6 months ago i left my 1999 3.0 S Type Jag at an outdoor car park for 2 weeks whilst on hols. on return the car had a nasty misfire and spluttered for the next few days but it slowly got better. however it never totally dissapeared. then this week i put it through a car wash and the misfire was back to full splutter again. 2 days no and it is still spluttering !!

  Hi there, I\'m new to this site and have a question. I now want to buy either one of the above. I\'m particularly keen on the BM as it\'s rear wheel drive, coupe body, holds it\'s value well and is a real driver\'s car. The Jag is not as pretty, has too much Mondeo in it but is much cheaper. I\'m looking at buying a 2002 model with a manual gearbox.

  Hi Two questions for y'all... 1. I have recently purchased a Fiesta 1.25 Zetec-s and am very impressed, apart from a slight hesitancy that feels as if the engine is "missing" when under load around 4000rpm. Any suggestions to what this may be? 2. The car has a FSH and has currently 61k on the clock, but I would like to know the cambelt service interval - any ideas?

  To distinguish them from the humble 4x4 class of cars, shouldn't two-wheel drive cars be classed as 4x2's? (Or should it be 2x4's? Which comes first ~ the number of wheels or the number that are driven?) -- L\'escargot by name, but not by nature.
