Most disappointing car. 25 Sep 2025 (Forum)
I’ve driven countless cars over the years, from Fiat Panda 750 to McLaren 570S through luxury saloons and knackered hatchbacks. But what was the most disappointing car I’ve ever driven? Was it the Nissan Bluebird ZX Turbo that was about as sporty as Nora Batty despite the bright red paint and spoiler kit? -

Flat batteries and unused cars 28 May 2020 (Forum)
On average they are between five to eight years old. With the slow return to work about to begin-I wonder how many flat battery, locked brakes and non starting callouts there might be in the next few days? If none-then isn't it amazing how modern cars can be left static for such a long period without any basic care and maintenance? -

The previous MOT before that had advisories for surface corrosion rear axle, rear springs. -
Any - Headlights 15 Jan 2019 (Forum)
With the new headlights being fitted there just seems to be a constant glare. This is more noticeable with cars up to 3 years old. most cars have a thumbwheel to angle headlamps further down but very few seem to use this. It seems bizarre when driving through town with street lights that oncoming cars have headlights and additional lights that just dazzle oncoming drivers and making it difficult to see beyond the glare this is quite apart from older cars all of which seem to have at least one headlight badly aligned (is this not checked at MOT time) Maybe time to rethink dim dip for town driving. -

BMW 1 Series - The Depreciation Dilemma 29 Mar 2016 (Forum)
We often keep our cars to the death in our family as at least we know where we stand. Seeking a used BMW 1 Series I came across a pleasantly specced car that was a gnat's whisker under 10k but SIX years old to the day. I know they have to make a profit but the trade in price of said car is arounf £5750 if you are lucky. -

Car Hire - Malaga 9 Nov 2015 (Forum)
Friend took swmbo for a short break and as he wanted to drive her up the old road which curls around under itself, (i'm sure you know where it is) booked a hire car. Got to the desk late, and no trace of booking, and no one answering on the uk number. Was offered a car at an extortionate rate, but declined and got the train into malaga. -

Any - Long Term Investment 9 Jun 2014 (Forum)
Is there a modern day equivalent of the W124 or at least a car with the same reputation. I am looking to purchase an estate car that would not necessarily do high mileage - 8K to 10K a year so petrol would be the order of the day. I am an old f*** so an automatic would be useful and I will look after the car. -

Ford Fiesta - 60 plate Fiesta - warranty problem 30 Jan 2013 (Forum)
As such they are refusing my claim on the warranty. I know hardly anything about cars and have not got a clue what to do next. Surely a car that is only 18 months old should be covered by the warranty on this?
