  Jaguar announces new X Type 1 Nov 2000 (News)
  This four-wheel-drive four-door saloon car will have 2.5 litre and 3.0 litre V6 engines derived from the 24 valve Ford V6 and will compete against the new Audi A4, the BMW 3 Series, the Mercedes Benz C Class, the Volvo S60 and the Lexus IS200. Along with a top class 1963 Lancia Flaminia 3B Pininfarina coupe, stunning a 1959 Lancia Flaminia GT by Touring and an outstanding 1964 Alfa Romeo 2600 spider.
