  Hi to All, and hope somebody can help. My BMW was starting okay from cold but got harder to start when warm/hot until now which it cranks but does not start. I have checked all the relays and fuses which appear to be fine, I then located the fuel pump on the drivers side under the rear seat, and fitted a new check valve and while doing this put some fuel line from the check valve into a pop bottle turned on the ignition and diesel was filling the pop bottle with pressure so I assume no problems there.

  A year previously they had replaced my my heater matrix and said it was under warrenty as it was obtained from direct from BMW, so I took the car to BMW and it was fixed for free. However, 3 weeks later my coolant dropped out again and water was mixing with the oil and was the same symptoms as with my original head gasket issue.

  Nice bloke, made me a coffee, though in a "Grumpy from the 7 Dwarves" mug, must have detected my mood. The car on sale was a BMW 3 series hatchback in really nice condition for its age, 1980 I think, and miles, 130,000, again I think. But then it only cost £450 and drove faultlessly back to Sunderland. We stopped for a huge breakfast at the Flask Cafe on the moors and "admired" a LHD Smart and a BMW C1 city scooter parked up there.

    As I catch up with cyclist I indicate a good distance back, check mirrors etc and there is a BMW in same lane as me. As I start manoeuvre into other lane to overtake cyclist. I notice BMW accelerate ridiculously quickly to start to overtake me (with indicating and as I'm pulling out), I keep looking in mirror thinking surely he's not going to try squeeze past me......and eventually I bottle it and swerve back in, thinking a collision in imminent (he probably would have slammed his breaks on, but who knows and don't want to risk it with kids in the car).
