It seems that unless you go quite bit upmarket there are very few choices where the seat covers are not black.   If a vehicle is uninsured it is liable to be seized by the police if it is flagged up on their ANPR system. Does anyone know what the consequences are for driving around in a car that is not taxed ?  Would that also receive the same attention on the ANPR ? And, importantly, does driving an untaxed vehicle nullify the insurance cover  ? By the way, I’m in the clear.

  Just changed the plugs in my Mondeo (2000W), and want to check the HT leads are ok as the car has now covered 103k miles. Is it possible to do this by measuring their resistance with a common multi-meter? If so, what value should a lead not exceed if it is in good condition?
