• Hyundai Kia - Cash is not king 4 Mar 2021 (Forum)
  I am slightly surprised how little leeway there is on prices, especially when mentioning that the buyer will be a cash purchaser. I get that they would prefer finance for their commission, but didn't expect an almost complete lack of interest from some dealers. Has anybody taken out a finance deal with Hyundai or Kia recently and then paid off the balance after a short time later?

  Almost $325 every month plus with financing cost. I have a great job at the airport which pays about $2100 after taxes per month. My rent, hydro, internet, phone and groceries is under $850(Don’t ask me how). Am i making the right decision here?

  Dreadful customer service. In early january 2016 i placed an order for an F-Pace based upon jaguar finance quote. On thursday 14th july it arrived along with an increase over the accepted quote (jaguar finance) from january. Quote13591126 This was queried for obvious reason but as of todays date 21st july, i have not managed to get any response.
• Renault Megane II (2002 - 2008) - Final Payments 10 Sep 2008 (Forum)
  In 2004 obtained megane on finance. In 2007 they changed finance from RFS to RCI. My final payment was due in June 2007. They should have contacted me or tried to take the final payment from my account but did not do so. Today because I no longer require the vehicle tried to take the car back to the dealer, but was told that I could not leave it with them and to contatct RCI for them to arrange collection.

  05 plat renault clio 182 sport spoiler pack (front lip and larger rear spoiler) 1 owner 22K miles fullRSH silver - £9750 giving me £14500 for my old car, paying off £10300 finance, leaves me with £5600 to borrow. or 55 plate clio 182 sport with cup spoiler pack (see above) + (suspension pack, grey wheels + lower suspension) 1 owner 10K miles FullRSH silver - £10300 giving me £13750 for my old car paying off finance leaves me £6850 to borrow for the wifes car. she does around 7K miles p.a. guess she dosent need suspension kit, so cheaper option better?

  Anyone know anything about this company, good or bad?   Thinking og buying used audi from them. Ownership was a finance company which they tell me was leased to one user.

  Ford Motor company's first quarter profits make interesting reading. It earned 302 million from automotive sales, and 370 million from selling finance packages to it's customers. Maybe Rover should have become a bank.

  Later on that evening I did a HPI check on the vehicle and found it showed as having outstanding finance on it and infact 2 owners. I contacted the seller the next morning and he said that the outstanding finance marker will be removed as its a mistake (I confirmed this with the finance company too, apparently a guy went in to buy the same car went through with all the finance and decided he didn't want it hence why it was on there).

    Due to covid restrictions (I'm currently self isolating) I wasn't able to deal with the guy who came to collect the car directly.  I have since been invoiced by the finance company for excess mileage.  The contract mileage was 30,000 and the inspection report states a mileage of 33,394.  I stupidly didn't take a picture of the mileage whilst preparing it for inspection, but know that mileage was around the 23,000 mark.

  It is not unsafe or undrivable but is not up to the quality of what I would expect from a new car. I had two MCC Smarts prior to this Renault and they were immaculate. The car was bought on finance (Renault Selections). There was also a p/x on finance which they took in and cleared the finance on. Andy.

    Some such the A-class is almost universally agreed to be "poor" relative to its contemporaries, yet it is outselling them. Is it really that finance/personal taste are actually bigger drivers of sales than objective competence or is it that most cars now are so close to each other under the skin that journalistic differences are not really perceivable to most and therefore finance/personal taste is really the only difference?

  As i understand it, if the car is stolen they are obliged to pay me the market value. The finance company are not a party to the insurance policy taken out so as far as I am concerned, my obligatrion is to pay the finance company the settlement figure and it is the insurnace companys obligation to pay me the market value.

  Advert in yesterday's Sund.Tel. offering Skoda Octavia 180 bhp for £15k and 0% finance over 3 yrs. Have read HJ's C by C brkdown and wonder if this is a good deal. Are they running the model out ? Can I get a discount somewhere ? Are they worth the money ?

  Log book loans are loans that are secured by surrendering your vehicle registration certificate. As long as your automobile is totally exempt from finance or at least almost no cost, you get your loan usually within 24 hrs without any credit verifying at all.

  I am all in favour of it but what is the legal position with regard to the crushing of a vehicle which may actually be the property of a finance company and not belong to the person comitting the offence.

  You were all so helpful when I asked about getting a car on finance for my daughter that she has decided to pay up to £5k which she saved for a used car rather than any sort of finance so thanks to everyone   She has taken a brief look and has narrowed down to the following..in order of what she really likes ( and before you maybe laugh she likes the Dacia and very low insurance/ tax for her and good MPG )  1.

  Has anyone had similar experience?  We have payed a deposit but I hav emajor issues with signing the finance agrement stomorrow.  The car is not current spec, it will require fluid changes, battery check/ replacment, brakes?, paint checks......
