  Does anyone know what the purpose of the 12 foot high wooden panels that are being erected along some sections of smart motorway conversions is ? They give me the feeling of 'nowhere to run' in the event of a breakdown ! Perhaps their purpose is to stop people trying to climb over them /

  It has an MOT, but untaxed as off road, good tyres and runs well,(well ok) How to get rid of efficiently, that bit too good to scrap, but neighbour doen;t want to ebay or gumtree it.

  My Renault Master cuts out. It has no poor running, pulls well. Fault code DF053 has been noted. Any thoughts. I was thinking about replacing crankshaft sensor. Thank you for assistance.

  TPMS works from valves on this car. Will running throughout winter on winter tyres with no TPMS units fitted cause any problems except yellow dashboard warning light and will it all sort itself out with the summer tyres refitted

  I drive a 1998, Mercedes C class Estate,with a 1.8 petrol engine. Could someone tell me if it is ok to run on the lower ethanol fuel  (95octane,E10) that is now available? Many thanks

  When I use premium diesel I get better mileage and the car runs better.. I have heard it is a waste of money but the 1.9d is so slow I like the extra performace.. Any comments?..

  yaris 1.6 diesel.    turbo does not kick in...engine runs well but no power due to turbo.....turbo is free to turn but just does not engage..has anyone had this fault before.    oh and HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ONE AND ALL!!!!!!

  Engine starts then immediately stops, i.e. will not continue to run. The rev counter does not move off the stop and the engine management light does not light. Ppossible causes? Engine speed sensor?

  Heater fan only works on full blast, what's likely to be the problem and can I fix it without  major dismantlement? Wife hankering after another one but only does 2K a year and car runs perfectly well enough for that.

  My mazda 323 TD runs really smoothly until I get to around 75/80MPH mark, car starts vibrating. What could it be? Is it tracking, balancing etc..? Please advise. Thanks

  Just a quick question, should a radiator fan normally be on all the time? I seem to remember my Clio fan running quite a lot in the past but it doesnt appear to these days! Especially when the engine is turned off after parking.

  I recently upgraded from 16" steels to 17" alloys, i could run up to a 100mph ( german autobahn ) with no wobble at all, but the alloys slightly wobble between 65-70 and i've had them balanced twice at two different places.
