  A rare 1973 BMW 3.0 CSL in Golf Yellow, one of only 500 made in RHD and in need of recommissioning following 18 years in Carcoon storage made £88,000 while a 1974 BMW 2002 Turbo in Chamonix White, one of 1,672 made and also from long-term storage raised £67,100. A new house record was £22,000 achieved by a restored 1958 Austin-Healey Frogeye Sprite (a model currently on the up). And £20,900 was an excellent result for a 1955 TF on offer that had been fitted with an MGB engine and running gear in the 1960s.

  . For the long distance two-driver races Robb was supported by Stig Blomqvist at Donnington and the late and Mike Smith at Brands Hatch. Now it is being publicly offered for sale for the very first time after being in storage for 20 years. Chassis number MTRS01 competed under the team Trackstar banner, formed by Mike Smith in 1989 together with ex-Prodive team manager Malcolm Swetnam and Robb Gravett, with the sole ambition of winning the BTCC championship.

  Restored Lotus Elite S2 with racing history heads to auction 13 Jun 2017 (News)
  After being returned to the factory to fix the suspension problems that blighted early models, the car was sold on and registered as a road car before being put into long-term storage in 1966 where the car parted company with its original engine and ZF gearbox. Lotus Elite-specialist Mk14 Components recently restored the car, fitting the car with an FWE Climax engine that has steel crankshaft, lightened flywheel, and forged pistons.

  Ferrari 308 with V12 engine conversion heads to auction 19 Apr 2017 (News)
  As a result, the car is thought to be one of just four known 308s worldwide that boast a V12 Ferrari engine. The current owner found the car in 2013. It had spent the past years in dry-storage so he decided to return it to Nigel Hudson to undertake a two-year, no-expense-spared re-commissioning. The engine, gearbox, brakes and suspension were all taken apart and inspected with new parts fitted where necessary.

  Frankfurt Motor Show 2015: Next-gen Kia Sportage launched 15 Sep 2015 (News)
    As with previous models, the Sportage will accommodate up to five adults, while the boot will offer around 500 litres of storage with the rear seats in place.  Kia hasn't released any details about engines yet, but expect the line-up to include a range of four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines, offered with two-wheel or four-wheel drive.

  Rare Steyr Puch 'Fiat' 500 up for sale 11 Sep 2014 (News)
  First registered in the UK on 21 October, 1960, AEM 655 was sold by Ryders of Liverpool. For the past 28 years, the car has been in storage in the Republic of Ireland. It looks like it’s been sympathetically recomissioned with fresh interior trim, new tyres and some mechanical work. It has 64,733 miles on the clock and comes with an MoT until August 2015.

  The collection has been built up over a ten-year period and includes 50 early 911s, 39 912s and about 40 356s. Many more cars are still in transit from storage in the US. The owner has also included two Range Rovers and two pick-ups in the form of a 1960 Peugeot 403 and a 1970 Austin J4 in the sale.
