  Bought my Audi from a garage in November and had a problem straight away in December. The garage agreed to fix this as it was in the 6 month warranty period. The car was fitted with a reconditioned rear diff and haldex unit supplied by Audi.

  My wife has owned an Audi A3 1.8TFSI Sport S-tronic since new (Aug 2007). It has covered 56,000 miles, is in super condition and we love it other than the DSG transmission's jerkiness from rest. After this worsened, Audi reset the software, which slightly improved matters, but it is still very difficult to manoeuvre at slow speeds because of the sudden, jerky take-up of drive however carefully one feathers the throttle.

  It needs to have a boot big enough for associated luggage for my business.I'm currently driving an Audi A3, 3 doors, 1.9, 09 so I would like something similar in terms of driving experience. I was looking at Audi A4 Avant 1.8 and Mazda 6 2.o petrol but I'm not really sure. I'm not bothered about fuel consumption as I do low mileage and I plan to keep the next car only for few years.

  We're looking to replace our excellent but now 5 year old Honda Accord Tourer and have just seen an Audi A6 TDIe Avant multitronic with our local Audi dealer at £25,495. At about £7,000 less than list this looks to be a great deal so what's the catch? Its registration date is late Sept 2011 so it's a 61 plate with delivery mileage.

  I have been told by my Audi VW garage that I need a new coil pack for my Audi A2 1.6 FSI but the part is on back order till 25th may 2007 I have checked with the main dealer who tell the same story, I find this to be totally unacceptable I am told there is a manufacturing problem meanwhile I can not drive my car and have to hire a car at great expense!!!

  An Audi TT with 14K on the clock has corroded front disks - not worn but rusted and as such give grinding noises. According to the Audi dealer who sold the car the disks are not covered by warranty but will need to be paid for - disks and fitting inc VAT = £200 approx - the existing pads are fine and not needing replaced - the car is not thashed but driven as one would expect from a performance car.

  The new VW Passat has been round a couple of months now and I was wondering if anyone had any impressions of the car generally. I am looking to change my car soon, and I was wondering whether to stick with the Audi A4 or whether to go for the new Passat which is cheaper. I know the new Passat now has a transverse engine and is based upon the Golf floorpan which is a bit offputting, whereas Audi have gone their separate way sticking with the longitudinal engine/gearbox layout.

  I've recently had to have a new key programmed by Audi for my 98 Audi A3 1.6 SE. The key now works in ignition and in the door but the remote central locking doesnt work. Apparantly there is a problem with one of the modules in the foothold which will take three labour hours plus parts to fix, something I'm a little loathed to pay.

  My \'98 Audi A6 2.8 85,000 is starting roughly on damp mornings [recent new plugs] - does anyone agree might be worth renewing HT leads? In previous VW/Audi cars they only seem to last about this long, yet my 24yr old TR7 [62,000m] works well on the originals [carbon fibre, not copper, although I trimmed of 1/2\" at the plug ends not so long ago where they had got hot and deteriorated].
