  Hi   I would like to buy an Audi A3 or Mercedes C180 . My budget is max 5500£. My initial plan was to go for high mileage deisel.  on further research came to know that the Euro 5 diesels with high mileage might mean that  you could be looking at big bucks to replace the EGR, the DPF, the injectors, the glowplugs and maybe the turbo, so could set you back £5k.

  Hi, I have approx 7k to spend on a used car, I have a year 2000 Audi A4 and has gone beyond 260,000 miles in (petrol). Which makes me think another Audi A4 S-line would be nice. But everywhere I read are sugesting a BMW 3 series. Of course I will able to get a newer car for the money with a AUDI, but any recomendations?

  Hi, I'm looking to buy a AUDI A4 S-line a B7 one, problem is is it best to go for the 1.9 TDI or the 2.0 TDI, I've noticed you can get both engines on the B7. I've read comments on problems with the 2.0 TDI, but not much feedback on the 1.9 TDI, is there a certain era of A4 B7's best to buy, certain milleage etc.

  Hi all, was looking for a bit of advice of your good selves. Ive found an audi a4 2002 (in my opinion the best looking shape) and its mint condition  and has been well looked after with full service history. its a 1.8t four wheel drive model with 65k on the clock. This will be the first vag car i will have owned and would like to know any potential down falls. bit concerned about running costs as well, so if any body has this engine id like to hear your thoughts.

  Evening chaps, I have an Audi A6 2.5 TDi - 1999/S reg with 126,000 with Audi FSH When the car gets warm t starts to blow out blue smoke - as though it's burning oil ! There is no loss of power at all. When I open the oil filler cap it releases lots of pressure.

  Posted this originally in the wrong place I think. Have found an Audi A4 that looks OK except that it is now at 59k miles and last had a recorded service from Audi at 15k! The VW main dealer offering it will service it and provide 12 months warranty. Is this safe?
